A pooka or púca is a shape-shifting, jet-black spirit that can appear in the form of a horse, goat, cat, gnome-like figure or other animal. Púca are associated with agriculture and the Celtic harvest calendar, and appear in folklore from around Great Britain and Ireland.
For this Festive Pooka it has taken the guise of a horse with elongated ears and flowers in its billowing hair.
